The four sections of the SAT test different areas of your knowledge and skills. Additionally, the SAT has a particular style of asking questions that you’ll want to become comfortable with.

How to prepare for SAT math will be different than how to prepare for SAT reading, which will be different than how to prepare for SAT writing!

4: Determine Your Strengths and Weaknesses

Skillz invites you to take a timed practice test. Once you have completed our timed practice test, you’ll want to figure out your strengths and weaknesses and set a starting point for yourself.

Once you’ve taken the practice test, you can schedule an interactive review session with our teachers to analyze your answers in order to give you maximum support.

5: Set a Score Goal

Once you have an idea of your baseline, set a goal score! You’ll want it to be something you can realistically accomplish in the time frame you have for preparing for the SAT.

A 140-point improvement from your baseline in a month is guaranteed in our 26-hours SAT preparation training; a 300-point improvement needs you to put in more time and effort.

6: Make a Study Schedule

Based on your goal score and your time before the test; you will want to make a study schedule for yourself.

By sticking to consistent, scheduled times studying will become a habit. And make sure somebody else is assisting you in your study schedule so they can hold you accountable!
